Begin your Spiritual Education Today at Sancta Sophia Seminary

Sancta Sophia is an accredited interfaith seminary that offers esoteric studies, ministerial ordination, and interfaith seminary degrees to all who seek a greater understanding of themselves and God.

Our classes and workshops are open to all, whether or not you are enrolled in a program of studies. You can join us for a week or two of classes most times of the year by completing the Class Registration form. Many join us each year for their “annual spiritual retreat.”

Individualized Courses Combine In-Home
and On-Campus Esoteric Studies

Sancta Sophia Seminary offers esoteric Christian education without requiring you to become a full-time on-campus student at an esoteric school.

Your esoteric studies will consist of directed home-study combined with on-campus classes—allowing you to continue in your present occupation as you work toward personal growth, a seminary degree, or spiritual career. Your individual interests and goals will guide the direction of your studies as you work closely with a personal advisor. Foundations of Spirituality is requisite for all other programs and graduate degrees offered at Sancta Sophia Seminary. From this metaphysical studies foundation, you may pursue ministerial ordination or become a teacher of esoteric philosophy, wellness guide, or spiritual mentor. It is also requisite for Doctoral and Master Degrees.

Sancta Sophia means “holy wisdom,” and it is our goal to share Ancient Wisdom. Sophia introduces feminine insightfulness to partner with the Christ as the loving Master. This combined influence brings about a balance and moves us toward Oneness, unity, and the uplifting of human consciousness.

Announcing the appointment of Dean Emeritus to
Dr. Carol Parrish-Harra

The Board of Trustees of Light of Christ Community Church, Inc. in Sparrow Hawk Village, Tahlequah, OK, home to Sancta Sophia Seminary, announces the appointment of Dean Emeritus to Dr. Carol Parrish-Harra effective June 1, 2010. She is the founding dean of Sancta Sophia Seminary, established in Sarasota, Florida in 1977. Dr. Parrish-Harra has been the foundational teacher and leader of Sancta Sophia Seminary since its inception.

In addition, Dr. Parrish-Harra has developed curriculum and published several books in esoteric studies. She is an internationally recognized lecturer, a significant teacher of the transformational process, and one of the leading pioneers for clarifying Sophia, the recognized Divine Feminine.

Sancta Sophia Seminary will continue to benefit from Dr. Parrish-Harra’s expertise and ongoing development of material to further the understanding and presentation of the Ancient Wisdom Teachings. She and her husband, Charles Harra, will remain living in Sparrow Hawk Village. Dr. Parrish-Harra anticipates more time to realize her future plans and shares these words; “I am looking forward to enjoying the community in which we live, some continued travel, and lots of creative activity.“
