HEALING THE INNER CHILD WORKSHOP
Julia Carroll, M.A., A.T.R.

“Healing the Child Within” addresses the least popular but most pressing issue – sexual abuse. Our children and our inner child must be healed for humanity to move forward. In this seminar, we will first acknowledge that sexual abuse exists. We will immediately move to positivism psychology to provide hope and encouragement. As we move through and overcome the trauma, we become confident, strong, and capable of contributing to society.

The points of discussion will include the following:

• Psychological concerns
• Forms of therapy for trauma
• Left brain – right brain focus for creativity
• Bruce D. Perry, M.D.’s, theory on neurodevelopment to encourage abstract thought
• Dr. Alice Miller’s position of how to recover from trauma of sexual abuse
• Explanations of hidden messages in art work so educators and counselors can detect trauma
• Several actual art therapy modalities for hands-on creativity. Get our hands dirty!

COUNSELING WEEK:
Techniques and Training for Pastoral Counseling

These important six days with specially chosen staff are dedicated to the nurturing and growth of each individual. Participants are exposed to a rainbow of psycho-spiritual therapies and techniques: emotional empowerment, dream analysis, crisis intervention, regression therapy and other cutting-edge approaches to renewal, balance and wholeness. Each participant receives both private and group counseling.

LIMITED ENROLLMENT. A significant component of the Seminary’s Foundations of Spirituality program, this week is required for Practitioners, Wellness Guide and Psychography certification.

Deposit required three weeks before class to reserve your position and ensure proper planning.

AM session: Uncovering Your Hidden Talent

Psychic ability is not a goal in itself; it is an integral part of spiritual development. Deepen your understanding of inner knowing as you learn to access higher levels of self. This class includes lectures, group work, and personal instruction with an emphasis on ethics and spiritual laws. PM session: Shustah Meditation Tools

Shustah cards, designed to prompt natural intuition, enable one to establish communication between inner and outer perceptions. Symbols enhance meditation and divination as they connect us with archetypal energies. In this class, latent intuition awakens as instruction, experience with the symbols, and group work are provided. Shustah materials $30 fee.

Dr. Wayne Carr presents most interesting data as he leads the group in experiments to expand our actual experience with PSI. A psychologist and researcher, Dr. Carr has investigated Remote Viewing and its useful application, as well as a tool for expanding human potential. Join us for a most interesting weekend of Parapsychology for experimentation.

During this blessing, the recipient remains fully clothed, lying on a healing table, while one of the ancient biblical healing oils is intuitively chosen for him or her. The ritual, inspired by the desire to be in resonance with the loving compassionate heart of God, establishes a connection and an energy balance between the heart and the mind. The blessing takes about 20 minutes and recipients make donations to support the work of the Wellness Center.

Continuing the work of the previous week, participants explore natural psychic abilities with an internationally recognized intuitive. New energies unveil the mysteries of the feminine to help students recognize their innate gifts. Students exchange readings, practice various experiential techniques, and establish new confidence in their ever-expanding capabilities.
Note: For intuitive purposes, bring one or two photos of individuals you know well (one person to a picture).

PM session: The Art of Dowsing
Charles and Doris Pass

Through the powers within yourself, learn to attune to little-understood energies. Dowsing has been useful over the centuries for finding water, minerals, lost articles, and unknown pieces of information. This human capability has earned its place in this technical, sophisticated age. Learn to measure energy fields, answer questions, and discover influences in the world about us, using tools such as the pendulum, L rod, and Y rod. Field exercises will be included, weather permitting. This class is exciting and fun!

PM session: Inner Symbols: The Language of Dreams and Meditation

Discover and interpret your personal symbols as found in meditation and dreams. Few realize how connected dreams and psychic skills are, both exposing deep feelings, meanings, and concerns of the hidden nature. Participants learn ways to enrich themselves by means of symbols and inner exploration. This class provides an enjoyable combination of lecture, discussion, and exercises to help participants discover the significance of symbols in the inner and outer aspects of their lives.

ESSENTIAL OIL INTENSIVE

Essential oils are nature’s living energy and powerful tools to create both change and abundance in one’s life. Four levels are addressed during this experience:

• Physical—Applied Vitaflex and Raindrop Technique. Vitaflex is an ancient Tibetan technique that is an integral aspect of the Raindrop Technique (RDT). RDT is a sacred anointing process utilizing Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils to manifest physiological balance.
• Emotional—Emotional Release with Essential Oils. Emotional blocks may be conscious or unconscious – essential oils work at a cellular level to address root causes and thus bring empowerment.
• Mental—Chemistry of Essential Oils. The basics of essential oil chemistry will be shared, allowing for deeper understanding of the theory behind the practical results.
• Spiritual—Healing Oils of the Bible. Essential oils are mentioned 1,035 times in the Bible. Exploration of the oils of Sacred Scripture, plus the Esoteric Seventh Heaven oils will be explored.

We will explore music in a variety of ways each day. We will listen to a piece of music, expressing our reaction through journaling, discussion and using intuitive art. Each afternoon Rev. Wilkes will share thoughts and ideas about music as well, the intention is for the class to be experiential. Class participation will also include toning, chanting and singing simple songs.

PRINCIPLES AND LAWS OF THE AQUARIAN AGE

Pluto, the planet of rebirth and transformation, is doing its work to move humanity out of the Age of Authority and into the Age of Experience. Pluto, the great transformer, has recently moved out of Sagittarius, the sign of reaching for the highest possible ideas and goals, and into the sign of Capricorn where it will reside for the next 16 years. Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of the great initiator, challenges each one of us to be reborn into the embodiment and effective expression of the Principles (the Ideas) and Laws (the Goals) of the incoming Aquarian Age.

During this workshop we will examine the primary Principles of the Aquarian Age, explore the Laws that describe how each Principle works at any particular level of consciousness, and discuss how we might learn to respond well, as individuals and as a group (the Experience), to the evolutionary impulses of the new age.

PASSAGES TO THE SOUL OF ADULTHOOD

Adulthood does not occur just because we reach a certain age. It takes place as we navigate the various passages that lead deeper and deeper into the domain of our soul. Those on the spiritual path may neglect the passages that lead one emotionally and psychologically to maturity. This avoidance delays one’s ability to reach the spiritual depths that may be desired. They are as necessary as one’s chronological growth. This workshop, based on the book, The Soul of Adulthood by John and Linda Friel, will explore 21 of these passages. Each participant will be given a worksheet that assists the opportunity to discover where one is on his/her journey and learn skills to enhance the personal journey to his/her soul to adulthood. Group discussion and sharing enhances each participant’s ability to understand the doors closed and doors needed. This will be a wonderful time of self-examination and growth in a comfortable, nonjudgmental, accepting environment.
