Esoteric Astrology as news for August 26 - September 1, 2010
During this Mercury in Virgo retrograde (Aug. 20-Sept. 12) the Black Rock Arts Festival, Burning Man, the yearly “desert art-piece on the playas”, begins, distilling all facets of community creation, living and sharing.
Through the retrograde, almost at summer’s end (August 30-Sept. 6), the desert celebration develops, proceeds, burns, cleans up and then disappears without a trace. The theme this year is The Metropolis, the Life of Cities. People worldwide are returning to the cities. Tent cities are now in major metropolitan cities everywhere filled with both the migrating masses and those who have lost their homes. There is a return to, a rapprochement, of humanity to its cities.
When Mercury is retro we rethink, re-analyze, reform, restructure, re-assess, re-assemble, and return to something. This is rapprochement. As Burning Man inspects daily life in the city, Mercury retro calls us to review our daily lives, asking us to assess how we live, serve ourselves and others, how we govern, eat, tend to hygiene, how we care for the human, animal, plant and mineral kingdoms so they are sustainable and sustained. We too must measure & evaluate our daily life - its design, patterns, habits, structure, order and organization.
During (Mercury retrograde in) Virgo everyone is called, and thus re-learns how to serve self and then others. Serving and tending and sharing with others are part of the success of city life. And, as we stand in transition between the ages, we begin to realize It is in the vision & serving of others that, the establishment of the idea and ideal of serving others, that builds the new culture and civilization (Capricorn, where the new light is birthed from the womb of Virgo, the mother.)
Burning Man, building the experience of community each year, is the shadow and template of a new society beginning to emerge. We are nearing apocalyptic times. Or perhaps we’re already in them. Burning Man, its creation, society, and sense of community can be seen as apocalyptic. For each year, out on the desert sands, “magnetic hubs of pulsing urban social interaction” rise up, form a city where its inhabitants create a community - “organic, spontaneous, heterogeneous, and untidy, diverse, unpredictable and unique”.
Through the lens of the daily life (Virgo) at Black Rock, civilization’s future will be pondered because in the revolution that must come forth, specific questions must be asked; “How to make our cities livable and sustainable, where children and the elderly have equal access? How to assemble quality human habitat, safe neighborhoods, promoting belonging, community, beauty, agriculture, the village? How to create cities based on these principles and belonging on a civic scale?”
These same questions are asked in Transition Town agendas and are visually answered in architect, builder, professor emeritus (UC Berkeley, presently residing in England), Christopher Alexander’s “A Pattern Language.” This book originated from an observation that many medieval cities, built with classical patterns. are attractive and harmonious. Alexander is a Libra. His birthday is October 4, 1936, Vienna, Austria. Rob Hopkins, founder of Transition Town Initiative, now refers to Transition Town work as “Pattern Language”.
A quote from Alfred Lord Tennyson’s “Ulysses”.
The long day wanes,
The slow moon climbs, the deep
Moans round with many voices.
Come my friends,
'Tis not too late
To seek a newer world...
ARIES (March 21-April 20): Careful with love and all encounters with intimates, loved ones, those close to you, partners, etc. You (or they) may feel estranged, separate, unloved and uncared for and yearn for contact (which releases Love) and for the magnetic charms you usually lavish on what you love. We are to “be of love a little more careful than of anything.” (e.e. cummings). See to this each moment.
TAURUS (April 21-May 21): Each day may feel more and more difficult. There could be tiredness, exhaustion, a need to tend to health and well-being. Perhaps choices you’ve made in the past five years need re-assessing. What are the consequences of these choices and should you make new ones (after the retro)? It is good to ponder upon what Path you’re on and will it change soon? Some one waits.
GEMINI (May 22-June 20): Do you feel your creative process at a standstill? Do you recognize what your creative process is? What you actually have, when aligned with the Soul, is a ‘prophetic imagination”, both like and unlike that of Pisces. This type of imagination has hope for the future with a clear understanding of the present day dilemmas humanity faces. During this retrograde that rules you, ponder upon a critique on the present social situations worldwide.
CANCER (June 21-July 20): Since you nourish new ideas that must come into form and matter through impressing humanity’s minds and hearts, perhaps you can begin to help humanity envision a new and vibrant way of life, not the old materialism as we have known it, but the new materialism that responds to world/humanity’s need. This is Soul work and the Soul for Cancer is a diffused light bathed in the womb of matter. You illumine that light.
LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): I’m wondering is there’s a lamentation for things that occurred in the family long ago. Perhaps there’s a lament for one or more family deaths. It would be good to express yourself more in depth about any and all things on your mind. It will help you trust yourself more. The more your talk the more that’s hidden within you emerges. This is healing for you. And liberating. Your mask must be removed.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): It would be good to hang mirrors everywhere and look into them, pondering upon who you are, your identity then and now and in the future. It’s good to assess and re-assess everything about yourself including what you value. Create an “I Value” book. Set it alongside your “Retrograde” book and your “Esoteric quotes” book. Back to values. Write down everything you value. Begin with yourself whether you believe this or not.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): When you think of your life as a child, what do you remember? What areas in your life that, successful now, can be traced back to what you were taught as a child? What beliefs do you carry into your life based upon resistance? How to you see your parents, in what light, and are you able to understand the 4th Commandment. Do you know what it is? It’s a serious spiritual law.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): I am going to ask you deep questions. Do you feel, in any way, complicit with the materialistic (read destructive) forces accepted within our dominant culture? Do you explore or encounter new ways of being that undermine the materiality of the dominant culture? Why am I asking you these questions? Because you understand the underbelly of everything. And because, through you, everything reorients toward the light.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): I am suggesting a book and author to you. He is brilliant. His work is brilliant. You are brilliant. So I thought to put the three together, a triangle, a symbol of synthesis. The author is Michael Eric Dyson (Saturn, the teacher, in Sag). The book is “Can You Hear Me Now?” He wrote more books. This author understands God, hip-hop, and popular culture both black and white. He’s a cultural critic. You are, too.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): You’re on the brink, edge, precipice, border, boundary, periphery, perimeter of moving into the center of everyone’s world. This is both inviting and not. You’ve tried to open many doors and felt often they were closed. Now as they open, you peek inside, realizing the choice to walk through or return home. There you rest, remember, retreat, reassess and review who you are. Revelations then happen.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): You want to travel, but you don’t. Something holds you back. You decide to travel and things fall apart. You seek relationships but experience conflict and chaos instead. I want to remind you that conflict is Ray 4. From and through conflict a new harmony arises. Humanity works and learns through Ray 4. Know also that for what you want in life, you must consider all the ways of cooperation.
PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): Something within relationship returns to an original place (or person). As this occurs, as you’re called here and there, by necessity or by desire (of others), you remember to stand still, quietly and in truth, within your own needs. Not just wants, but needs. It seems you’ve stopped praying, bordering on having no hope. Sometimes we must do that. Something lovely your ways comes. Embrace it. And drive away.
Esoteric Astrology as news for August 19 - 25, 2010
Mercury in Virgo turns retrograde Friday, August 20th (12:59 pm, west coast). The retrograde, till September 12th, lasts three weeks. Mercury retro joins five other starry retro big hitters – Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto & Chiron. Retros are linked with the prefix “re”. We redo, review, re-visit, re-think, re-examine, re-evaluate, etc. ideas, thoughts, plans, studies, agendas created since Mercury’s previous retro, (April/May). We look back, assess, refine, rest and recuperate from a mind exhausted with facts. With so many retrogrades, especially the major transformers (outer planets), the entire world is critically rethinking everything. It’s an interesting time.
For readers wondering how to prepare for the retrograde, knowing about and understanding it is enough. We know we don’t create new plans or projects, purchase important items (cars, houses, appliances, clothes, gifts, etc.), contracts aren’t signed, agreements aren’t made, money isn’t borrowed or loaned and we don’t expect clear communication or to aware drivers. We know everything’s overlooked, messages aren’t received, details are neglected, keys are misplaced, information’s off-center, minds change constantly, thoughts turn inward, and questions aren’t answered.
Havoc appears everywhere with everyone. How do we respond? We think of Mercury retro as an experiment, a time of no expectations, an astrological phenomena to observe with intelligent awareness, knowledge and humor. It’s an astrological fact that humanity assumes Virgo tendencies (internally analytical, mentally organized, discriminating, detailed and practical). However, none of this externalizes because our minds are internally reorganizing, evaluating and reflecting upon past information. Mercury retro is excellent for study. When Mercury turns direct again, revelations appear, information is uncovered and since everyone had a respite from too much thinking, we are able to begin again with previous projects, ideas and planning seeing them with a revitalized mind. For now, though, and for the next three weeks, the world should rest.
Saturday Saturn squares Pluto squares Jupiter, activating the ongoing Grand cardinal t-square. Constant challenges are being presented to humanity. We are being forced to do all things differently, with different (spiritual) purpose.
Sunday evening, the Sun leaves Leo for the year and enters Virgo, sign of the “gestating Madonna” (both men & women). Virgo is the name given to the Mother Principle in Atlantean times. Virgo is the “Mother of all Form”, the mother principle that “shields, nurtures, protects & conceals” (until birth) a new state of consciousness (the unborn child). This unborn child is the hidden spiritual reality each of us eventually comes to. Virgo in her highest form gathers all the nutrients needed to feed her unborn child, allowing these nutrients to pass through her body into the womb (protected state of consciousness). When we see a Virgo attempting to serve others, this is a beginning level of the high work Virgo is to do in the world. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was Virgo. Mary, maya, mayam, mare, these names have ancient roots referring to water (umbilical waters) from which the Heavenly Fish (child Jesus) was born.
Virgo, the sign, has three legs representing three aspects of the personality: mind (Eve), emotions (Isis) and physical body (Mary). These are the three representatives of the Virgo/Virgin principles through the ages. Within the depths and darkness (womb) the Light is protected so that it can grow in the “womb of time”, slowly gestating until the time for manifestation. All of these metaphors represent the Soul (and Spirit), embedded, anchored & hidden in form & matter, learning, experiencing, observing. Form (the Mother) hides the Soul (child Jesus) which hides Spirit (Father Principle). They are all One. And thus the Virgo meditation seed though on the Soul level “I am the Mother & the Child: I, God, I Matter, Am.”
Newsflash: US combat troops unexpectedly (Uranus) leaving Iraq. Uranus re-enters Pisces (its last degrees, the same degrees at the start of the war). Uranus says “No more sacrifice (Pisces).” Chiron (wound) conjuct Neptune (dissolving in order to refine). Neptune, God of the waters, says “No more wounding.” Good that it’s happening now, two days before Mercury retro or there would be a return and a rerun.
ARIES (March 21-April 20): Everything concerning your daily life is evaluated. You look at your life, environment, those around you and assess in what way you want yourself to change in response to them. You realize you must do things differently from now on and will assess what to do and the consequences. Careful at and with work and communicating with coworkers. It’s good to think about health, diet, fitness, exercise and how you feel each day.
TAURUS (April 21-May 21): Interesting situations and communication may occur with lovers, children, and everyone’s sense of creative individuality. Issues within relationships that have not been resolved will reappear. Try to listen to the core message within all communications. Don’t defend. Listen carefully, instead. The unresolved issues must be dealt with or there will be a dissolving and dissolution of important things some time in the future. Assess everything.
GEMINI (May 22-June 20): Everything about home, family, mother, real estate, things domestic, will come into focus and will need careful perspectives. Make no important decisions unless an emergency occurs. Remember everyone in the family is experiencing the present astrological transits, only everyone’s experiencing them differently. Use your Gemini mind to observe and figure out the differences. You remember to be non-judgmental.
CANCER (June 21-July 20): Cancer, like a crab, circles a situation, entering the center from every direction. They do not walk a direct line to anything for they are wary of their prey at all times. Thus they have a very developed intuition. However, in the next three weeks that intuition may not be as honed as usual. Therefore care needs to be taken with communications on all levels. Something from the past occurs. Or perhaps you’re traveling to a place you called home. Be aware of forgetfulness.
LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): How is your financial situation? Do not create any great waves in your financial picture. No loans (given or applied for) for example. But do take this time to review your finances, create new budgets (to be applied after three weeks), assess your flow of money (what’s coming in, what’s going out), the hows and whys of these transactions and review if everything monetary is proceeding as planned. Include a review of your values. And tithing.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Are you feeling somewhat distant and unable to communicate feelings? Are others saying you’re difficult and distant? During this time you are very internally involved, your mind is assessing all aspects of yourself – who you are, what you do each day, who you’re with and why. Your choices are clearly seen and you review them so see if they still reflect your values, needs, and your very nature. Hold on. Things will change within the month.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Be aware of thoughts and issues and things not tended to for a long time, coming into your present life and asking for attention, which is needed. Know that much of your communication may not be heard or understood by others. Therefore try to be very clear when communicating, speak slowly, even tell people you’re having difficulty communicating. Being non-judgmental, calling forth compassion, and going to a quiet retreat will sustain you.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Do be careful when with friends and in groups that plans made will be delayed, changed or not happen at all. Those close to you may seem distant (remember everyone’s internal at this time) or confused. However, expect that friends from the past make contact and you consider re-entering a group or friendships from long ago and not seen in a long time. Allow no heartache or anguish from the past to continue. Take Ignatia Amara.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): Notice if there is sensitivity (extra) around these subjects: money, partnerships, join resources/finances (something from the past?), speaking with superiors, thinking about career choices, communicating with co-workers, being misunderstood while in public, your life path, your future? It seems like every subject is sensitive. “Don’t worry. Be happy.” Who said that? He was right. This too will pass and know you’re perfect.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): Lay low for the next four weeks in terms of making promises, large decisions (discriminate what’s large & small), signing anything into permanence (it won’t be), travel plans, traveling long distances, Realize thinking, communications, transactions and even people taking your money will all be internalized so deeply, outer realities won’t make sense. It will be a crazy, mixed up world. Only you will know why. Don’t be lonely.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): You must begin to be practical about your money and resources. After the next two months it would be good for you to travel. However, at this point you must set new goals concerning your money and resources, reaffirm what is of value to you and eliminate all that is no longer useful or what you haven’t used, touched or looked at in the past several months. Use this retrograde Mercury in Virgo time to shed beliefs obstructing you from reality (and dreams). Don’t invest now.
PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): Maintain as clear a communication as you can with partners, intimates and those close to you. All relationships may enter into a phase of mis-understandings, perhaps disappointments, criticisms, over-reactions, mixed messages and perhaps the need to call upon mediation for understanding to occur. Pisces also at this time must begin to assess the value of their own thoughts, minds, decisions and needs and discriminate between the self and their beloveds. A difficult task, but necessary.
Esoteric Astrology as news for 12 - 18, 2010
The week: After intense planetary activity, including solar flares (Shamballa force) from the Sun and the magnetic field impacted Earth in previous weeks, the energies slowdown. Friday, Uranus (planet ruling the Aquarian Age, where community flourishes), retrogrades (till March 2011) back into Pisces (sign of saving the world). Uranus stimulates revolution, inventiveness, freedom, new archetypes.

When retrograde, the liberating energy of Uranus builds internally until it explodes! In Pisces and retrograde, Uranus is potent, deeply psychological, analytical, with intuition and revelations occurring at the speed of light. Freedom is re-awakened (think 1960s which our present times reflect on a higher dimension). Realizing what confines us we radicalize, rebel against obstructions to freedom and the future.
Before our external world can change, we must first change (our perceptions, beliefs) from within. Uranus retrograde therefore provides us with time (retrograde) to internally reflect & assess before outer changes manifest. Uranus awakens us from our deep slumber within and thralldom of materiality (excessive).
Uranus, the planet of new archetypes for the Aquarian Age, calls us to stand between revelation and revolution, so we can eventually begin become aware of, revel in and reveal both. Humanity together.
The Grand Cardinal (signs) T-square (Pluto/North Node in Capricorn square Uranus/Jupiter in Aries, square Saturn in Libra) continues to challenge humanity, leading us in our struggle to create our collective future. Monday, Jupiter opposes Saturn. We must incorporate into our lives a new and more sustainable structure, blending the hope & expansion of Jupiter with the discipline and authority of Saturn.
Notes:
1. Mercury retrogrades Saturday, August 20th.
2. The following looks at Uranus retro for each sign.
ARIES (March 21-April 20): Things unconscious and habitual come to consciousness to be released. All things private will be review, especially your feeling about religion, spirituality, helping others, how you feel when anonymous and behind the scenes instead of being front and center initiating world realities. Anything secret, already somewhat exposed, may have more light shed upon it. Nothing’s private anymore because it’s the past. And that needs shaken up, through interesting coincidences that occur.
TAURUS (April 21-May 21): Your circle of friends, groups that surround and love you, accept and listen intently to your carefully researched information. They begin to study what you are teaching for they are devoted to creating all things new. However, a review beforehand is necessary so that the successes of the past can provide a foundation for what is yet to come forth. This is based on visioning, needs, and the requirements of the Aquarian Age. What are they?
GEMINI (May 22-June 20): There’s a feeling of “been here, done that” and that “isn’t it over yet?” I guess not. There’s a review occurring with your career, how you as an authority relate to others, and toward those in chart. You want to be free of the past. However the past hasn’t revealed all of its secrets yet. More of your talents along with how to approach your work in the world with a dedicated and fully conscious sense of serving need more self-discovery. When you appear, everyone’s liberated. Why would that be?
CANCER (June 21-July 20): Will you be traveling unexpectedly? Perhaps travel is already planned. Know something unexpected will occur providing you with a sense of freedom, liberation from difficult feelings, past beliefs, and that ongoing sense of limitation. Notice as you think differently, those that you meet are also different. Tradition is cast to the winds as you begin to cherish and welcome the unconventional. It’s time to study something (unusual).
LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): It’s a good idea to tend to money and resources with extra care as something could occur that’s unexpected (again?) especially with shared resources. Keep up with all legal deadlines and matters – taxes, loans, debt. If not taken care of pleasure and ease could be limited and expenditures multiply. Something experimental and unusual will take place. Expect this and maintain balance each day through intentional Right Relations.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): If interactions or relationships seem confusing or difficult, you’ll quickly walk away thinking the situation too hard to bear. Cooperation is needed to understand what actions are appropriate and how to respond if everything feels limiting. Explore ways with those you love that bring about wonder instead of boredom. Explore the impossible, impractical, the unattainable and the unachievable. The outcome is interesting.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): The habitual, regular, normal, consistent, orderly and routine in daily life, work and relationships unexpectedly change. Anything confining will be liberated, including people, places, things, ideas and beliefs, especially what creates separations, blocking love, in your life. You might feel restless, and so a new rhythm will be found. Unusual methods of healing - laser light, energetic medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture – are of interest. Eventually only the unconventional (read holistic) will make sense.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): More and more you find yourself thinking unconventional thoughts, doing out of the ordinary activities that actually begin to describe who you really are and provide you with freedom of expression. It would be good to tell close friends and family that you’re moving into an unusual, original, perhaps eccentric period of creativeness. It’s also a time of seeking more play. Unusual attractions occur, too.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): You’ll return to an earlier interest, work, theme concerning family and home seeing how your history and early life interface with and influence your present. Don’t be surprised if home life is somehow disrupted, if time speeds up and slows down (like the tides), if routines keep changing, if decisions are quickly called for while patience dwindles. Hold all these things within a spirit of understanding that there’s no more normal, anywhere. For all of us, this is preparation.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): A return to a previous place with people previously known has, is or will be happening. You return to a neighborhood from long ago, or think about it to better understand that time in your life. You need new realities, ideas, fields of study, concepts that expose you to the future. Seeking new routines, you might dress, think, relate and express yourself differently. A new life-pattern comes forth. Read Christopher Alexander’s “A Pattern Language.”
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): You are awakening to the fact that you are of great value, something not realized before to such depth. As your thoughts of self as valuable grows, all that you value will change. I have found that without a sense of self-confidence firmly established there is less forward movement because the self doesn’t know what to choose or how to take action. This will change. Watch your finances. Always ask if your choice and actions are practical.
PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): In the next several months you’ll break from the past and all things (people, ideas, beliefs, fears) that have hindered your freedom, self-identity, creativity and self-expression. You trusted others to have your interests at heart. However, you found this wasn’t possible. An awakening is occurring informing you to be strong and make decisions about and for yourself, and to change your image to that of success. You can do this.
Esoteric Astrology as news for August 5 - 11, 2010
Monday (8:00 pm, Pacific time) is Leo new moon. The personality-building seed thought is “I rule because I exist,” the words of the undeveloped and un-integrated personality, the “benevolent dictator”, learning (stumbling toward) true leadership. At a later time, when the integrated personality is directed by the Soul, the little will joins the greater Will (of God) and true leadership, combined with Love, comes forth.
Friday Venus (money, values) enters Libra (Ray 3, equalizing economics).
Sunday Venus/Saturn oppose Uranus, creating new structures (Saturn) with money (Venus). This opposition connects with Pluto in Capricorn (civilization transforms). A cardinal (signs) T-square appears in the heavens initiating new ideas/realities. The planets continue to line up in a Grand Cross (four squares, four major challenges) in cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn). The US chart completes the Grand Cross with Venus/Jupiter in Cancer (opposite Pluto). Jupiter is something big and expanded, Venus signifies money, the economy, finances, banking.
New Realities
Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn) initiate new realities. Aries (with Mars) makes everything new, Libra (with Venus) enters during transition times and provides us with the challenge to choose sides, Cancer (with the Moon) is the masses (humanity), the Gate through which Spirit enters matter, and Capricorn (with Saturn) constitutes the structures - political, governmental, the civilization we live in, world leaders, the world situation at large.

Astrological Questions
Some astrological questions for all of us to ponder upon and answer.
Quote - Past, Present, Future
A quote from Andrew Vartic describing our present situation, “The past is archaeological, the present is creative, the future is at the cross roads.”
Venus & Mars in Libra – Money, Relationships & the Nine Tests
Venus enters Libra Friday night and opposes Uranus in Aries just after midnight Saturday. Something unexpected (Uranus) could occur with our money & resources. Venus is money & resources, values & the ruler, under Libra, of relationships. Venus received & distributes Ray 5 of Scientific and Concrete Knowledge. Mars is also in Libra (Ray 3, economics, relationships). Mars presents humanity’s personality (physical, emotional, lower mental) with Nine Tests (3 x 3), three tests on the physical, three on the emotional & three on the lower mental.
1) Physical tests concern sexuality, physical comfort over service to others; and appropriate use of money.
2) Emotional tests include: fear, hatred (destroys relationships), and excessive and obsessive ambition/desire for power (destroys entire nations - Hitler as example).
3) Lower mind tests are: pride, belief in separateness and isolation, and cruelty.
Note: Let us observe these carefully within ourselves. Not within others.
Calling in the Soul
Everyone, all of humanity, will be (is being) tested. We must call in the Soul for understanding, proper response and direction. As the personality comes into focus through the Nine Tests, the Soul of humanity will eventually become apparent. It is in Leo that the personality and the soul integrate, fuse. When this occurs, leaders, nations, all of humanity will be able to be directed by the Will of God and thus follow the Plan of God (as outlined by the Hierarchy). These are esoteric facts, all based upon Esoteric Astrology.
ARIES (March 21-April 20): Relationships, daily work, self-identity and creativity call for your attention, forming a cocoon of possible realities around you. Relationships need your passionate focus, daily work needs your intelligent loving mind, creativity needs your personality to integrate so great work can come forth. These form a triangle around your self-identity, which is daily expanding and being made new. Who are you becoming?
TAURUS (April 21-May 21): Often people think of you as practical. However, sometimes you’re not. Attempting to safeguard forever all things in form and matter, you sometimes forget maintaining things isn’t the prime focus in life. It’s a valuable asset, but, if those things actually obstruct human relationships, health and the order, care and wellbeing needed in daily life, then they are not valuable at all. A major task for Taurus is to learn what, in your present daily life, is truly of value. What is?
GEMINI (May 22-June 20): Do you project a stability of thought, care, love, focus and affection toward others in your daily life? Do you fluctuate between longing for commitment and wanting to be free? It’s possible one of these is actually an illusion. One is possible, the other isn’t (at this time). In the future, these possibilities will reverse. In the meantime, for commitment to occur, you must be committed first. And any subtle manipulations with others must be immediately eliminated.
CANCER (June 21-July 20): Our adult life is influenced and formed by our childhood family life. These influences can be either a good thing or something we must work hard at changing (the influences). Reviewing our past helps us understand our emotional and behavioral responses to all of life. Eliminate any idea that you (or other) families were/are “dysfunctional.” This is an unintelligent and uninformed judgment. All families are/were learning how to communicate, live, love and be together. Before harmony is created, we always (and only) learn through conflict and crisis.
LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): Communication slows down for you in the coming three years. It’s being restructured along with your patterns of thinking and expression. The gift of astrology is that we can understand how we’re changing and the timing of these changes. If you will observe your mind over the next thirty months, notice all the mental changes taking place, especially that your mind deepens, you become more serious and a greater ability to lead emerges.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): For the next several years, your mind will focus on needs and responsibilities, finances and values. Values are most important and each of us must begin to seriously consider what our values are. What do you value in terms of work and making money, in terms of people and friendships, in terms of being socially responsible, tithing, helping others in need, spiritual things? What do you value about yourself? Values change.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): So often Libras have difficulty making decisions, due to the constant awareness of the many available possibilities. Librans are very interesting people, if we can understand them. They seem very social. But truly they are always in a state of wondering if choices made are correct and at times fearful of new upcoming choices. The next several years will be different. Your decisive abilities grow strong, self-assurance, too. Just don’t be cruel.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): An interesting situation concerning how you think is beginning to be apparent. Your mind is coming to knowledge differently. You’re being called to practicality while also being pushed into new states of religious or spiritual awareness. Something or someone close to you is no longer available allowing for a deep creative response that brings forth your gifts – gifts never seen before. They come from your heart. It’s beating faster now and less shrouded.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): You have so many goals, dreams and aspirations, so many ideas of adventures and ways of being in the world. In the coming years, you’ll put into action practical steps to insure these dreams manifest. This is not easy. Sometimes you see the goal but are unable to explain that goal clearly to others. Off you go to the heights of an idea and leave us far behind. We’re calling you down to earth now. We want to walk and work with you and create the possible future together.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): You live a life full of instructions, responsibilities and attempts to be “best in show.” You are burdened with being perceived as always successful. Anything less, in self and others, is difficult for you. Through difficulties you actually flourish. As the years unfold, you’ll find yourself becoming younger and younger, allowing the seriousness to gradually fall away. The less serious, the more you prosper.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): Your library will soon begin to expand, even if you don’t have any books, even if the idea of a library is foreign to you. You will begin to read biographies, adventure stories, attempt to understand the universe, other cultures and people in different lands along with great philosophies. These will bring light to your mind, clarity to your thinking and a deeper appreciation of how you fit into the picture of life.
PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): The most important task for you at this time is to understand that your own personal needs, likes, dislikes, hopes, wishes and dreams are very important to the sustenance of your life and that all decisions should begin here. Otherwise, lost in a sea of other people’s ideas, resources, needs and interpretations, you disappear. Summon forth from within yourself courage, strength, self-assertion and self-belief. Call to them. They will appear and sustain you. Pray for them.
